Main Article Content
Abstract
Transdimensional Pedagogy is an educational proposal originating from the continuous study, research and reflection on practical experiences in different scenarios of work with children over a period of 30 years. It has been nurtured by a constant dialogue between theoretical proposals and avant-garde methodologies, and through consultation with different researchers, colleagues and professionals with expertise in diverse areas of knowledge.
It is a pedagogy which has its vertebral column in the encounter with others to “Give”, “Contribute”, “Co-construct” and “Co-create” in search of a common good, in the understanding that knowledge and learning are not only a personal responsibility but also imply social commitment. Its starting point is the generation and proposal of a Transdimensional concept of the “Human Being” as a platform from which to nourish his potential and make possible his optimum development, as well as that of the community. Pedagogy is per se Transdimensional and in constant evolution and it is in charge of the methodological design which allows the activation of all dimensions of the child and the adolescent. Transdimensionality contemplates 11 dimensions in the human being which in turn transcend him to interweave with the multiple dimensions of others, and the otherness. This permits the generation of areas of common transdimensionality, within which fascinating shared and co-constructive experiences are born, able to enhance the cognitive and creative development of the participants, thus promoting co-generation, co-creation and co-contribution in order to co-transform the community in a world searching for goodness, beauty and wisdom.
